Dr. Vernon has been a South Jersey resident for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor degree from the State University of New York, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree form The University of the State of New York, New York Chiropractic College in 1979.

Dr. Vernon is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in United States history. Dr. Vernon's passion for history has caused him to author 3 books, one is a historical volume on the profession of chiropractic in the state of New Jersey, while his 2 other volumes are photographic essays, one dealing with a hospital in Jersey City, NJ, the Jersey City Medical Center, and his more recent Jewish South Jersey, which chronicles the life of the Jewish people who after being expelled from Russia begin farming in New Jersey. In addition to his books, Dr. Vernon has published numerous scientific papers in chiropractic and medical journals.

Dr. Vernon has spent countless hours at post graduate seminars and believes that continuing education is an important factor in allowing him to offer practice members the most up to date chiropractic care available. Dr. Vernon considers health & chiropractic part of his lifestyle as well as his career. He is constantly striving to learn & grow while staying on the forefront of new technology.

He has been honored with the "Doctor of the Year" award from his colleagues in 1995, as well as being selected one of Americas "TOP DOCS" by the Consumer Research Council in Washington, DC in 2006.

Dr. Vernon holds licenses in the States of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and South Carolina
